NARM Announces 2002-2003 Board and Officers

The National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) has announced the 2002-2003 slate of officers for its Board of Directors. In addition, four new members have been elected to the Board.
David Schlang, Alliance Entertainment, will serve as Chairman; Larry Gaines, Wherehouse Entertainment, is the Vice Chairman; Joe Pagano, Best Buy Co., Inc., is Treasurer; and Len Cosimano, Border's Inc., is Secretary.
Four new members are taking seats on the board: Mike Dunn, Fox Consumer Products; Jim Ulsamer, Baker & Taylor; Jim Urie, Universal Music & Video Distribution; and Glen Ward, Virgin Entertainment Group. Those continuing to serve on the Board of Directors include George Daniels, George's Music Room; Alayna Hill-Alderman, Record Archive, Inc.; Tony Kirsch, Dart Distributing; Bill Lardie, Anderson Merchandisers; Joe MicAllef, Allegro Corp.; Eric Paulson, Navarre Corp.; Mike Solomon, Tower Records.
NARM serves the music retailing community in the areas of advocacy, networking, information, education, and promotion. The Association's more than 1,000 members include retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and suppliers of products and services.
