Get Full Text Reviews Through Content Café Baker & Taylor, Inc.( 06/14/2002 ) Baker & Taylor, the leading supplier of books, videos, music and services to public, school and academic libraries, announced that it now offers access to full text reviews through Content Café, its enriched content service for public and academic libraries. Content Café provides access to an extensive database of enriched bibliographic information. Currently consisting of almost 1.5 million full-size and thumbnail jacket art images, comprehensive tables of contents, and now a wide range of full text reviews, it integrates seamlessly with a library's Integrated Library System. Through the service, libraries can deliver this enriched content to their patrons without any of the costs of collecting and managing this data themselves. The recent addition of archived reviews for Cahners' key publications (Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, School Library Journal and Criticas) and the American Library Association's Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries rounds out an extensive collection that also includes Horn Book Guide and Magazine, Voice of Youth Advocates, BookNews, ForewordReviews.com and eStreams. "As Baker & Taylor is a leading supplier of materials to libraries, we've been able to make sure that Content Café includes the titles that they are adding to their collections," said Pamela Smith, senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "Offering reviews from such authoritative sources as Choice and Cahners builds perfectly on this strategy of getting the 'right' information into our library customers' hands."
