collectionHQ Announces Release of Revolutionary Enhancement
?The Scheduling Module will transform how public libraries manage collections ?

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 16, 2015 ?collectionHQ, the world's leading collection performance improvement solution that helps libraries increase efficiencies and improve collection performance, is pleased to announce the addition of a new module to its evidence based toolset. The Scheduling Module is one of the product's most significant enhancements to date, allowing library staff to coordinate all collection management and development tasks centrally and monitor the progress of these actions.

With the Scheduling Module, collectionHQ customers will have the ability to better plan all future collection management activities by creating a visual, easy to use calendar of tasks for each of the tools within collectionHQ and have task reminders emailed to colleagues for action on specified dates. Each task will be color coded to match its collection management category: Select, Manage, Promote and Evaluate. collectionHQ administrators will also be able to monitor task completion.

In conjunction with the comprehensive set of collectionHQ action plans, which are based on the proven Evidence Based Stock Management (EBSM?) methodology and provide a set of actions to follow to make improvements; the new Scheduling Module will make managing collections with collectionHQ more efficient than ever.

Scott Crawford, Vice President ? General Manger, collectionHQ, commented: "The Scheduling Module will make using collectionHQ and the EBSM methodology more efficient than it has ever been for our customers. We went to great lengths in interviewing many of our current customers to understand how they schedule and plan collectionHQ activities in their existing workflows, and from that have created a flexible and easy to manage process."

collectionHQ's Account Managers have been showcasing the new Scheduling Module at customer forums and training across North America, Europe and Australasia. The company also looks forward to providing demonstrations of the tool at the ALA Annual Conference 2015 in San Francisco, CA in June.
