Baker & Taylor Adds Title Selection Lists to Shop Online Baker & Taylor( 05/30/2000 ) Baker & Taylor recently enhanced its Internet ordering feature on its Web site www.btol.com by adding selection lists called E-Lists. E-Lists are a collection of electronic title selection lists encompassing popular genres, current events of interest in the industry and titles in high demand. The titles are selected by Baker & Taylor staff of collection development experts. Customers registered for Baker & Taylor's Internet ordering can send their orders via the Internet. In addition, users can browse E-Lists by market (library or retail), by category or view all available E-Lists. Current categories include: -Adult biographies -Adult reference -Business & finance -Computer books -Cookbooks -Easy readers -Health/medicine -Juvenile board books -Juvenile book & cassettes -Juvenile new titles -Juvenile replacements -North American history -Picture books -Self-help/new age -Travel books Customers who are not registered users of Baker & Taylor's Internet ordering must register before gaining access to E-Lists. Users, however, are not obligated to order online from the lists; they may order via phone, fax or electronically. New selection lists will be posted monthly.
